01/25/2024 - 41-Year-Old Springfield Man Arrested for Child Pornography

On January 6, 2024, the Springfield Police Department received information 41-year-old Christopher Lee Nemeth was in possession of child pornography. Based on the initial investigation, Mr. Nemeth was charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

In conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, the investigation continued and additional images of child pornography were located. On January 23, 2024, Mr. Nemeth was charged with twenty-two additional counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

This investigation is still active and additional charges are expected.
