Overgrowth - Municode 34-61(2)

Attention owners, agents, custodians, lessees and the occupants of real property within the city limits of the City of Springfield.  Any excessive accumulation of untended growth of weeds, grass, underbrush or other dead or living plant life which exceeds 12 inches upon an, improved lot (to include residential lots), tract or parcel of land (which has been cleared), in the manner that such residence, lot, tract or land shall or may become infested or inhabited with rodents, vermin or snakes, or may become a breeding place for mosquitoes, or threaten or endanger the public health and welfare, or may reasonably cause disease, or adversely affect and impair the economic welfare of the adjacent property.
